Canticum and Counterpoint perform Handel’s most dazzling choral showpiece at the “Cathedral of the Arts and Crafts movement”. Israel in Egypt is an 18th Century telling of the technicolor biblical epic, featuring graphic musical depictions of flies, frogs, hailstones, the river Nile turning to blood and the parting of the Red Sea.
